An amazing visit to the Bahamas in 2022.
Visiting John and Karen
It all began with a flight from BWI airport directly down to Nassau in the Bahamas. We, John and Jennifer and Carol and Gene, set off early in the morning, got our boarding passes, were sniffed by dogs, and went through customs. After a half empty flight, we flew into Nassau and were picked up by Karen. She took us to her home on West Bay Avenue on the southern side of New Providence Island.

Oh my God! So Good. Too much eating …. no photos!
John and Karen were the best tag-team cooks that I have ever met. Every night we had special meals that exceeded everyone’s expectations.
Look at this menu …. Veal Marsala, Peruvian Chicken with rice and beans, Steak Night with filets and rib eyes, Seafood Scampi with shrimp, scallops, and lobster, and a final pasta night at Spritz. Also lots of breakfasts, lunches and The Fish Fry and the Nassau Food Tour.
There might have been a lot of drinking too!
